How might we send and receive contacts in an quick, easy and convenient way that shares additional info like social media handles, while being easy to sort and store and replace traditional business cards?
This app will provide a way to share contacts that can be saved on the device with a tap, along with social media handles or resumes that can be sorted and easily found on the app, eliminating any errors in saving peoples’ contacts or misplacing business cards. This would remove the need to save multiple peoples’ contact one-by-one by asking them individually.
The user was confused at the onboarding with the the card, as the card looked like the one you have made, so the onboarding card should look more fake.
The text on the homepage was not enough to show the user how to interact with the app and share the card. An onboarding screen showing how to share the contact card would be helpful.
Additionally, When the user taps or drags on the card on the home page which are not the intended actions, a small animation can be shown on top of the card to instruct the user on what the interaction should be to share the card.
The emptiness of the homepage gives a feeling of this app being a bit weak and not having much to it. It feels more like a feature of another app than an app of its own. The contact card should have more use than just being on the homepage until you want to share it with someone. The instructions on the screen on how to share feel a little unnecessary, and find a way to show the interaction in a more intuitive manner. Adding an option to reject a card in case of a socially awkward situation would also be a good feature.
